Men Need Therapy: A Night of Poetry & Healing

Join us for a powerful and thought-provoking evening at Men Need Therapy, featuring Breeze the Poet, the 2019 Individual World Poetry Slam Champion, hosted by Andrea Ryan of Contigo Counseling Services. This unique event will showcase local poets, including Masaki Takahashi, founder of The Poetry Room and the current Lansing Poet Laureate (2022-2024), Truth the Poet from Flint, and Bradley Kraft from Ypsilanti.

In this dynamic show, we’ll explore the often-overlooked topic of men's mental health through a mix of poetry, storytelling, and open conversation. The event will create a safe space to discuss vulnerability, mental wellness, and the importance of emotional expression.

After the performance, we'll host a Q&A session, where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in dialogue about men’s mental health, emotional well-being, and the journey to healing.
