Rohith Jayaraman is a vocalist and composer based in Seattle, WA. With his background in Indian music, he’s worked across genres from jazz to Indian trad/crossover to Middle Eastern music and more. Rohith is on tour sharing some pieces from his upcoming singer-songwriter album, Oru Murai, which will release in early 2027.
This event will be an intimate community gathering where Rohith speaks about the process of the album, shares 5-6 pieces from the record, and brings the audience into the music. He’ll be playing all the music solo – just himself and a guitar. There will hopefully be some discussion, and definitely some group singing. It’s meant to feel like you’ve stepped into the middle of the process to get a sneak peek of the record.
